    What is a Root Canal Treatment?

    It is a common procedure that will replace the rotten (or decaying pulp) in the root canal (nerve) of your teeth.

    Why does rotten tooth pulp need to be removed?

    When a tooth’s pulp is decayed or damaged it can cause inflammation. Bacteria will gather and multiply within the tooth chamber which will cause an infection or an abscessed tooth and is likely to result in extreme toothache pain.

    Is it painful?

    Contrary to popular belief, root canal feel the same as having a filling placed. Prior to the procedure, you will be given adequate Sedation to numb the area as we clean the root canal.

    After the procedure, we will will disinfect and seal the canals, then place a Same Day Crown (CEREC) or a temporary crown to protect it from breaking.
